Legal Services
$350/Hour
We do not require a $5,000 or $10,000 retainer like most attorneys in the Charlotte area, but we require you to keep a credit card on file to pay your balance in full each month.
We do not offer payment plans, and we will withdraw from your case if your balance is not paid in full via the credit card you keep on file each month. We email a detailed invoice at the end of each month before running your credit card.
Our time is billed at .10 an hour. We provide detailed billing statements each month and do not have a large staff of legal assistants who regularly touch your file and run up your bill. We try our very best to communicate and partner with our clients about the needs of their case, so there should be no surprises regarding your bill or any of the time spent on your case.
We welcome any questions you may have about your bill, and you are never charged for time to discuss your bill.
Our firm does a generous amount of pro bono work through several local organizations such as Charlotte Triage, the Council for Children’s Rights and Safe Alliance. These organizations obtain their grant funding through the use of pro bono services, which makes a much greater impact on the community than we could accomplish ourselves. For this reason, we do not offer pro bono legal services to individuals under any circumstances.
